How alumi.space works

alumi.space is a curated resource hub, not an automated directory. Every tool on this site has been manually reviewed, tested where possible, and written up with verified pricing, honest pros and cons, and clear explanations of what the tool actually does. We don't scrape Product Hunt or auto-generate listings from press releases. Curation takes time, but it's the only way to build something people can trust.

That curation process means we can't cover everything ourselves. The vibe coding ecosystem grows faster than any single person can track. Community suggestions help us find tools we've missed, discover emerging categories, and keep the site comprehensive without sacrificing quality.

What we're looking for

We review tools that are directly relevant to the vibe coding workflow — the process of building software with AI assistance. This includes:

• AI coding assistants and app builders — tools that generate, edit, or review code using AI
• Infrastructure and backend services — databases, hosting, authentication, payments, file storage, and other services that vibe-coded apps depend on
• Developer tools and utilities — IDEs, version control, deployment platforms, monitoring, and analytics tools used in AI-assisted development workflows
• Design and UI tools — component libraries, design systems, and visual builders that work well with AI-generated code
• AI agent frameworks and local AI — tools for building AI features into your product or running models locally

We prioritize tools that have a working product (not just a landing page), transparent pricing, and clear relevance to people building with AI. Tools with free tiers or generous trial periods get extra consideration because vibe coders are often bootstrapping.

What we're not looking for

To keep alumi.space useful, we don't list everything. We're not the right fit for:

• Paid placement requests. We do not accept payment to list, feature, or rank tools. If your tool is good, it will be listed on merit.
• Tools with no relevance to vibe coding. General business software, marketing automation platforms, and enterprise tools that don't connect to the AI-assisted development workflow are outside our scope.
• Vaporware. If the tool doesn't have a working product that people can sign up for and use today, it's too early for us to list.
• Duplicate submissions. If a tool is already on the site, submitting it again won't change its listing. If you think information about an existing tool is wrong or outdated, mention that in your submission instead.

We review every submission manually. We do not add tools automatically and we do not guarantee inclusion. If a tool meets our editorial standards, we'll add it to the appropriate category with a full write-up. If it doesn't, we appreciate the suggestion all the same — it helps us understand what the community is using.

Timeline

We review submissions in the order they're received. Due to the manual nature of our review process — which includes verifying pricing, testing the tool where possible, and writing an honest assessment — it may take one to two weeks before a submitted tool appears on the site. We don't send individual rejection notices, but if your tool is added you'll see it in the relevant category page.
